40th Anniversary of the Terry Fox Run

Terry Fox once said:
“I’ve said to people before that I’m going to do my very best to make it, I’m not going to give up. But I might not make it… if I don’t, the Marathon of Hope better continue.”
When we opened to the public 10 years ago we formed a fundraising team to fulfill our promise to Terry to continue the Marathon of Hope in his name.
Never did I imagine we would hit $54,000 fundraised for cancer research. But then I realized, we didn’t do this, you did. You supported us. You donated to the Terry Fox Foundation. Although it can’t bring Terry or our loved ones back, it may help someone today or tomorrow and for that reason I will celebrate this milestone.
